Tenerife Dive Sites: Punta Tamaimo
Los Gigantes Diving Centre

* Suitable for: Suitable for all levels of divers (those with Open Water/ Ocean diver qualification are restricted to 18 metres)
* Travel time from dive centre: 8 minutes

This is another site beneath the wonderful cliffs of Los Gigantes, one that is also generally conducted as a drift dive, even if there is no current. The sea bed gently slopes from 6 metres to around 25 metres, therefore the dive can be tailored to all levels of experience or qualification. Most of the species of fish which are native to the Canary Islands can be seen here, with a possibility to see Octopus and Anemones among many others. A cavern at a depth of 6 metres can be explored towards the end of the dive.
